This session will begin to touch on the vast effects that arts programming can have on our youth's well-being, communication skills, and ability to self-regulate emotions. Front line staff will be encouraged to think outside the box when it comes to utilizing the arts as a valuable tool in planning, behavior management, and connecting with youth! We will also discuss how to utilize basic therapeutic art techniques to promote Social and Emotional learning, and how add these tips and tricks to your Afterschool tool box.
