Kayla has worked with young people since she graduated from college in 2012. She started her work with youth by teaching foundational concepts in reading, math, and comprehension to young people in foster care. When moving to Utah, she found her way to Promise South Salt Lake through a partner organization. She started her work with Promise in August of 2017 as an Afterschool Coordinator at Cottonwood High School. She has loved her job working with the youth and staff at Cottonwood, as well as building relationships and partnerships for the City of South Salt Lake.
