You don’t need be “good at drawing” to lead art activities for youth. An art teacher is more like a scientist setting up the right conditions for kids to make creative discoveries. A space to make art is a petri dish where youth engagement with art can grow exponentially when it is set up to let kids choose how to make their own projects. Take the plunge into creative chaos and leave with an original piece of artwork made by one of your peers!

Learn the literacy, English language arts, and fine arts standards utilized while creating your own original work as a group. The Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre supports education classes and after school projects free of charge through funding from the State School Board, private donors, and foundations.
