Round Table Confab
Through feedback found in the mid-year reports and conversations with many grantees, I want to create a collaborative forum for programs to come together to talk about needs and areas of opportunity. The four main topics of discussion will be student recruitment, parent engagement, staff retention, and behavior management. Each table will have a list of questions to pursue in a 45 minute discussion, and then there will be a 15 minute share out of all ideas. All topics will be recorded in a google document that a scribe at each table will be responsible for adding into. In the end, all ideas will be shared with all attendees via the google document.

This session is geared towards front line staff members, especially those who are new to the afterschool field, are feeling unsure about how to have the sometimes awkward conversations with a supervisor, and are looking to strengthen their team without the title of "site manager", "coordinator", etc. but all positions are welcome to attend!
